Landmine (ランドマイン, Randomain), is a fighter. He lives by a soldier's code and thrives on honor and loyalty to his comrades and commanders. History[]

When Rodimus Prime left Cybertron eons ago, Landmine was one of the Transformers who chose to go with him. Serving as a traffic guard until the war escalated, Landmine boarded Rodimus' vessel along with his co-worker and partner, Mirage, a patrol officer. Landmine would become Rodimus Prime's right-hand soldier and his personal bodyguard. On their long trek through the universe, Landmine and Rodimus' crew came to Planet Q, and swore an oath to protect it from harm. They were absent from the planet the day Unicron arrived to devour it, however, and failed to uphold their promise. This loss weighed heavily on Rodimus, and when he heard of Alpha Q's return countless years later, he renewed their association. Learning that Unicron's power could be used to restore lost planets, Rodimus Prime, Mirage and Landmine dedicated themselves to fulfilling their original promise and helping Alpha Q gather enough energon to recreate his world.
