Mirage, Autobot Head of Security
Mirage (ミラージュ, Mirāju) is a rookie Autobot serving under Rodimus Prime.
Mirage became one of the first Autobots (possibly only one of two) to join the new Autobot S.W.A.T. Team specially formed to take the fight for energon directly to the Decepticons.

His veichle mode is a Cybertronian Race Car on Cybertron, when arriving to Earth he adapts the Earth veichle mode of a Formula One style Police Cruiser.

Mirage was a young, inexperienced security officer on Rodimus Prime's exploration ship. He left Cybertron eons ago with his leader to bring peace and justice to the galaxy. On their long trek through the universe, Mirage and Rodimus Primes's crew came to Planet Q, and swore an oath to protect it from harm. They were absent from the planet the day Unicron arrived to devour it, however, and failed to uphold their promise. This loss weighed heavily on Rodimus, and when he heard of Alpha Q's return countless years later, he renewed their association. Learning that Unicron's power could be used to restore lost planets, Rodimus Prime, Mirage and Landmine dedicated themselves to fulfilling their original promise and helping Alpha Q gather enough energon to recreate his world.
